KUZZ will be presenting its 2nd annual Streets of Bakersfield Cruizin-Shine in Mid-March.
Registration is open to all trucks, cars and motorcycles. The three-day event will raise funds for charity.
Car, truck, and motorcycles enthusiasts who register by Thursday, February 15 will get passes to the Meet and Greet, an event T-shirt, goody bag, dash plaque, the Show-N-Shine, and the Saturday night after party. The first 400 entries will be part of the Friday Night Downtown Cruize. Those registering after that date will get everything but the T-Shirts.
Over 120 awards will be distributed, and the show will be limited to the first 1,000 entries.
New to this year’s event will be ‘Streets of Bakersfield Ultimate Build Award’. This will be an invitation for the top 30 Ultimate build picks to be a part of the special area during the show. Winners will be selected by a Cruizin-4-Charity committee.
Charites that will benefit from the event will include Kern County Honor Flight, D.B.D.C., Mindenburu Magic Foundation, and Boys and Girls Club of Kern County.
Those interested may want to get this information to their charities, and vehicle-enthusiastic organizations before their monthly newsletter printing.
The Cruizin-Shine will be from March 15 to 17. Thursday Meet and Greet will be at Buck Owens Crystall Palace, 2800 Buck Owens Blvd., from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm; Friday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Saturday from 6:00 am until 9:00 am at 21st and H Streets, Bakersfield.
