AGM Community Partners are expecting more than 1,500 people to attend their 5th Annual Bakersfield BrunchFest in mid-October.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the unlimited tasting-size brunch bites offered by more than 20 chefs from local restaurants and eateries.
A panel of judges will be handing out bragging rights to best brunch, hangover brunch, sweet treat, brunch beverage, and the most creative offering from local eateries such as Blaze Pizza, Huckleberry's, Mimosa Cafe, Golden Corral, and Fresco Meat Market.
Beverages will include sparkling wine, beers, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. All guests will receive souvenir glasses featuring the event's graphic design. A local DJ will be emceeing live music groups.
General admission will be $82.18 until event day when it will go up to $87.45. These tickets include admission, and unlimited brunch bites and drinks. VIP tickets ($108.55) will be available until Saturday, October 12. These tickets add private samplings, separate entrance, and private restrooms to general admission amenities.
Proceeds will go to the AGM Community Partners, a 501c3 organization that hosts events here in Bakersfield throughout the year, such as Fiesta Fest, KidsFest, and Mac and Cheese Fest, and supports numerous other charities.
The 2024 Bakersfield BrunchFest will take place rain or shine in Stramler Park, 4003 Chester Avenue, on Saturday, October 12 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
