Bakersfield couples fete Valentines Day
Special Valentine’s Day events are being planned here in Bakersfield for mid-February.
Wine me UP! and Cornerstone Bakery are teaming up to offer four wine and cupcake pairings for $30 per person. The little Valentine’s Mini Cupcake and Wine Pairing will take place at Wine Me Up!, 3900 Coffee Road, Ste. 2 on Thursday, February 10 at 9:00 pm.
On Saturday, February 12 at 9:00 pm, there will be a Valentine’s Ball at the Elements Venue, 3401 Chester Avenue. No-host cocktails will be served from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and dinner will be served from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Entertainment will be provided by Daisy Sanchez and Mariachi San Marcos. Dancing to the music provided by DJ Danny P, Velorio, and DJ Nokturnal will begin at 9:00 pm and continue to 2:00 am.
On the same evening, La Fonda Mexican Grill and Cantina will offer a Valentine’s Day Dinner Comedy Show featuring Rachel Sterling beginning at 9:30 pm. General admission will be $20, and for $10 more guests can get preferred seating, VIP badges, and swag. The DJ afterparty will go to 2:00 am.
Seven Oaks Country Club, 2000 Grand Lake Avenue, will have its Valentine’s Dinner on Sunday, February 13 starting at 5:00 pm. The Retrovibe Band will provide live music and proceeds will go to helping typhoon victims.
