The sixth annual Mac and Cheese Fest Bakersfield is coming in a few days. The event will be for people ages 21 and over.
Admission tickets will allow the purchaser tastings ranging from an eighth of an ounce, to a full ounce offered by over 10 local beverage companies, including Wine Warehouse, J & L Wines, Goose IPA, and Firestone Walker, and gourmet macaroni and cheese samplings from over 25 local restaurants.
Some restaurants participating in this year’s festival will be Sonder, WALTER, Mountain Mikes, Just Wing It, and Steak and Grape. Waterfall Cleaners will be sponsoring the water station. Everyone will also receive complimentary glasses touting the event’s graphic design thanks to Dignity Health.
Returning after a five-year hiatus, guest performers for the day will be country rock band Truxton Mile.
This event will benefit the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund which assists over 300 California State University Bakersfield student-athletes. Attendees can bring blankets and lawn chairs, and should dress appropriately as the event will happen rain or shine.
General admission tickets are $50 presale, $55 until April 19, and $70 at the gate on the day of the event. VIP tickets are $100. The VIP tickets include a meal catered by Countryside Deli and a private beverage sampling area.
The 2019 Mac and Cheese Fest Bakersfield will be from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 20. The venue will be on the soccer fields at California State University Bakersfield, 9001 Stockdale Highway
