Gilbert’s most competitive cornhole players will be looking forward to participating in the December American Cornhole League Regional coming shortly. Competition will include novice, intermediate, competitive, and advanced play.
Doors will open at 1:00 am, and Open Doubles (with a limit of 32 teams), Competitive Doubles (limit 32 teams) and Novice Doubles (limit of 24 teams) will follow at noon. At 2:00 pm, Advanced and Intermediate Singles (with a limit of 48 players for each) will play. Competitive Singles (limit of 48 players) will begin at 4:00 pm. They will be followed at 5:00 pm with Open Singles (limit of 48 players).
Intermediate Doubles (limit of 32 teams) will begin at 6:00 pm with the Advanced Doubles (limit of 32 teams) the last tier ending at 7:00 pm.
Payout for the Open Division will be 80% of all open division entry fees. The top team in all other divisions will be 70% of each division’s entry fees.
December ACL Regional will take place next Saturday, December 17 at Hole 9 Yards Cornhole Venue, 868 N Gilbert Road. The December ACL Blind Draw Regional will be Sunday, December 18 starting at 3:00 pm.
