Concerts in the park return to Gilbert

The Gilbert Concerts in the Park series of shows is returning this October at the Water Tower Plaza in Gilbert.

Held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the concert is organized by the City of Gilbert’s Parks and Recreation Department. People are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for the free, family-friendly concerts from local bands performing a variety of genres.

Restaurants are also in the vicinity, available for takeout orders, if audience members wish to dine while they rock out.

On Thursday, October 1, Velvet Crush will bring classic rock and pop tunes, as well as dancefloor and country favorites.

Then, on October 15, the band Poor Barbie will put their unique spin on everything from grunge to blues to alternative rock and country.

Singer-songwriter and Gilbert-raised musician Rylee Paige will serenade audiences with her original songs that blend indie, R&B and jazz, as well as performing unique covers of all-time favorites, on October 22.

Finally, the series concludes on October 29 with the country and pop sensibilities of Carly Klein, a singer-songwriter who first picked up the guitar as a child.

Concerts like this may choose to use brochure printing to create music sheets, season schedules and audience programs.

All these concerts are going to be at the Water Tower Plaza at 45 W Page Ave in Gilbert.
