Gilbert's Hale Concert Hall is currently presenting tribute bands.
Until June 27th, the hall is having a Tribute to Dolly (Parton), Linda (Ronstadt) and Emmylou (Harris). Guests will be treated to chart topping songs like "9 to 5", I Will Always Love You", and "Together Again."
From July 17th through August 1st, an ENCORE presentation of Tribute to 70's Soul will feature an evening of music from the nostalgic golden era of R&B and soul, with hit songs made famous by Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Bill Withers plus others.
A Tribute to Woodstock 1969 will take the audience back to the Woodstock era with music of Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and The Band. Music will include songs like "Ball and Chain", "Summertime", and "Feelin' Alright."
Music at the 80's New Wave Tribute will include hits from groups like the Police, TalkingHeads, The Cars and Elvis Costello. Some songs for the attendees to look forward to will be "Message in a Bottle", " Every Breath You Take" and "Just What I Needed." These concerts will run from September 11 through September 26th.
Tickets run from $47 to $59.50. The curtain will go up at 4:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons and at 7:30 pm for evening performances. The Hale Centre Theater is located at 50 W Page Avenue.
