It will soon be time for Gilbert families to don swimsuits and head out to the Doterra Family Fun Pool Party—an afternoon for the whole family to enjoy. Parents may be tempted by the low-entry fee of $2 per person, with kids aged three and under getting in free.
The pool venue includes diving boards, water slides, a kiddie slide, and a zero depth area. There will also be prize drawings, with many of the items up for grabs provided by sponsoring company Doterra, which promotes a line of essential wellness oils made from plant parts like bark, stems, seeds flowers, and roots. The focus is to encourage naturally healthy families.
The “My Waffle Crush Truck” will be on hand. This is a food vendor offering four waffle creations, including one topped with Biscoff (a hazel-nut-cookie spread), strawberries and cream. Other options are a Nana waffle with Nutella, bananas, and cream, and a chocolate-filled waffle topped with Biscoff, toasted mini marshmallows, and cream. The last creation is the Scoop, a waffle spread with Nutella, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a square of chocolate.
The pool party will be held at the Mesquite Aquatic Center at 100 W. Mesquite St. in Gilbert, Saturday, July 19, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Family photos taken during this party will no doubt make great subjects for later postcard printing.
