Spring is creeping up on Gilbert, and that can only mean it will soon be time for the East Valley Home and Garden Show.
California Media Promotions, Inc. has chosen Gilbert as the host city for this year’s event—it will be sponsored by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Service and Diamondback Billiards and Games. More than 2,500 guests are expected.
This year’s event will offer many freebies, such as parking, admission, and free samples. Local eateries will be conducting live cooking demos. The main attractions will be the home and garden displays put on by local garden centers and home stores, which will see professionals from the region demonstrating, sharing decorating ideas, exchanging information on their digital Business Cards and selling their services and products.
Artists and craftspeople will also be on hand to sell their indoor and patio creations, and will be among the 90 or so vendors. Other merchants will be not only be selling their wares but handing out advice, while many of the food vendors will be giving out food samples. A lucky guest can win the drawing for a $10,000 shopping spree. If the last six numbers of someone’s driver’s license matches the lucky number, they will be “Licensed to Win”.
