Once again, Gilbert will go “all out” for its 4th of July celebration.
The area’s ‘Fire in the Sky’ will be a zany event as always. Two of three sites that will be available for viewing the fireworks will have activities and summer treats before the show.
Central Christian will have vendors selling all the traditional summer goodies, such as hot dogs, watermelon, snow cones, and cotton candy. This particular site will have music and giveaways such as free beach balls. Guests will be able to buy glow necklaces and other trinkets that light up in the dark. Everyone that attends this site is asked to bring their own chairs and blankets, along with canned goods for a collection.
The Youth Soccer Complex will have water slide inflatables, a DJ for music, and its own array of venders selling snow cones and hot dogs.
For those who just want to see the fireworks, there will be a good location available at the Campo Verde High School. This may be a good time to get this information to local organizations before their next newsletter printing order.
