Hale Centre Theater will be holding four tribute concerts through July and August for its Summer Concert Series.
Coming to town after starring in Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet, Scott Moreau will take to the stage as the legendary Johnny Cash. He will share the performance with Colte Julian paying tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis. The two-hour concert will play next Monday, July 15 starting at 7:00 pm, and on Tuesday July 16 at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
At the end of the month, the Summer Concert Series will present an evening of Elvis with Victor Trevino Jr. as Elvis Presley. Victor has been on tour as Elvis for the last six years. Performances will be at 7:00 pm on July 29 and at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on July 30.
Buddy, Ritchie and Big Bopper Tribute concert will come on August 12 and 13. This will be a re-creation of the last concert the famous trio gave in Clearlake, Iowa back on February 2, 1959. Todd Meredith will be Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper will be played by Jeff March, and Ryan Jagru will be Richie Valens.
The last tribute concert for the summer on August 26 and 27 will be an evening with “Elton John.” Colte Julian will play the iconic keyboardist for the two-hour performance.
