Residents of the Phoenix Valley, including Gilbert foodies and food connoisseurs, will get to experience food from around the world in the Taste of the World International Food Festival coming in mid-May.
Local food businesses that offer cuisine from other cultures will showcase food items that best represent their countries and cultures. French cuisine will be represented by Cuisine by Celine, Somalian will be Hoyo Kitchen, American Texas BBQ will be Charlie’s Smoke Wagon. Other food vendors will include Filipino Mamalita Soda Bar, Asian Fusion Grille will be Chinoz Grill and American desserts will be represented by Johnson’s Colossal Creations.Visitors will have the option of voting for their favorite vendor.
Guests that particularly enjoy specific food items often ask the vendors for Business Cards so they can contact them after the event.
General admission will be $15. VIP tickets will be $55. The VIP tickets include $5 tickets to five food vendors. The general admission tickets do not include food, but vendors will have lists of $5 sample items along with their standard Menus.
Festival entertainment will be live. Ashton Vaugh will be outdoors entertaining guests with his saxophone. Miles King, Solu the Artist and her dancers and Arizona Music Force will be on the Terrace and Color Me Art will be at the Gramercy.
Taste of the World International Food Festival will be Sunday, May 16th from noon until 6:00 pm at SoHo63, 63 East Boston Street, Chandler.
