The Banner Health Center is once again presenting its annual Ka-Pow Superhero Adventure Run in a matter of days.
This will be a family event where everyone is invited to dress up in their favorite superhero costumes and head out for a run. The two-mile adventure family run will include 20 fun-filled obstacles. The site will be wheelchair accessible and strollers will be welcome.
Some of the obstacles will include the Spiderman Tower, the Iron Man Crawl, and Thor Tires. There will be a Wonder Woman Wall and the all popular Aqua Man water slide. Also, the four-story high water slide has been added this year.
After the run, families will be invited to visit ‘Gotham City’ where beverages and food will be available for purchase and live entertainment and inflatables will await. Kids will want to have their pictures taken with Arizona’s superheroes, and parents will no doubt want to get pictures of their little ones in their favorite superhero customs posing with their heroes. These pictures can be saved for future poster printing.
Runners are advised that there will not be an ATM available on site and the food and beverage vendors will only accept cash. The event is slated for this Saturday, March 25, from 8:00 am until noon at Freestone Park, 1045 Juniper Avenue, Gilbert.
