Many Gilbert “heroes” and their families will be heading to the KAPOW Superhero Adventure Run 2024 scheduled for the end of March.
This family-friendly fun run will have 19 inflatable obstacles for little ones to conquer. Waves will be released every 15 minutes, giving plenty of time for children to navigate the obstacles safely.
There will be themed areas throughout the obstacle course, such as Batman versus Superman, Thor's Tires, Mysterlo's Maze, Superman's Plunge, Aquaman's Slide, Wonder Woman's Lasso and Dr. Doom's Dodge.
The first wave will begin the run at 8:00am, with the last one commencing at 10:00am.
All finishers will receive special keepsake celebratory finisher medals featuring the KAPOW graphic design logo when they complete the race.
Tickets for the KAPOW Superhero Adventure Run purchased before Friday, March 1 will cost $30, and KAPOW Superhero Adventure Run tickets purchased from Saturday, March 2 will cost $40.
Special superhero gifts will be handed out during packet pickup on Wednesday, 20 and Thursday, 21 March at the Parks and Recreation Office, 90 E Civic Center Drive.
All participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero attire.
A recreation of Batman’s Gotham City will be opened before the first wave. Children will have plenty of time to enjoy the free activities, meet guest superheroes, and listen to music.
The KAPOW Superhero Adventure Run 2024 will be at Freestone Park, 1045 E. Juniper Avenue, Saturday March 23.
