Gilbert spends a night at the museum

The Gilbert Historical Museum will be holding its sixth annual flagship fundraiser – A Night at the Museum – early in March.

Brio Tuscan Grille will be catering the event, and Nothing Bundt Cakes will provide dessert. Live entertainment will be AZ Dueling Pianos, which is a music group of five male and female pianists and one violinist inviting guests to clap and sing along.

There will also be a live and a silent auction. Items for these auctions will be donated by local businesses, companies, and organizations, and may include gift baskets containing coupons, spa packages, samples and a range of Promotional Products, such as hats with the company’s Logo Design.

The 13th annual Quilt Show will be in progress and guests are invited to view some of the quilts made by local crafters.

Also during the event will be the Gilbert Visual Art League’s 15th Fine Art Annual Show. The show displays over 80 pieces of art from paintings, photography, drawing and mixed media, to copper, stoneware, wood, and glass created by regional artists. The pieces have been judged in different categories such as Best of Show and Peoples’ Choice and ready for sale.

The Night at the Museum will be Saturday, March 3 from 6:00 until 11:00 pm at Gilbert Museum at HD South, 10 South Gilbert Road.
