Gilbert runners are invited to run for donuts at the Donut Judge Me 5k coming in early October.
The Donut Peddler will have full-sized fresh donuts at the finish line, and after one and two miles. Gatorade and water will be available around the halfway mark.
Registration will be $33 until the last 50 spots are left, and $40 thereafter. The kids 5k registration for children 10 and under will be $18. Add-ons will be pink Racerback tank T-Shirts, youth short-sleeved light blue T-Shirts, and heather indigo unisex short-sleeved T-Shirts.
Swag will include finisher medals that will have 3-D medal pink-iced donut tokens with spinning arms and legs, chip timings, and professional photos.
Race packets can be collected on race day from 6:30 am to 7:30 am at the starting line. The first wave will begin the race at 8:00 am. Overall awards will be posted and ready for pickup immediately after the race. Winners across the age groups may pick up their awards after that.
The scenic canal loop course has a few spots where spectators may cheer on their favorite runners, and onlookers may join in the fun at the lap and finish area. Some spectators may wish to surprise their favorite runners by going to a banner printing company and displaying their Banners along the way.
This year's Donut Judge Me 5k will take place on Saturday, October 4 at Gilbert Town Square, 1120 S Gilbert Road.
