StartLine Racing AZ Sunrise Series is in the midst of its seven 5K racing events, and the one slated for our area will be in a few weeks.
This will be the fifth race, and among the top prizes for the series winners will be a $1,500 gift card.
Runners in this race will receive custom series five-inch medals, or add-ons to the medals won in previous series races and Dri-Fit Racerback tank tops, short or sleeveless shirts all sporting the Arizona Sunrise Series graphic design. A ‘Runner’s Brunch’ of fruit, bagels, water and Gatorade will be available for runners before and after the race.
The course will take runners around Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch then south to E. Elliot Road and back to the preserve. The terrain will be rather level starting at 1274 feet with a maximum elevation of 1281 feet causing a gain of only 29 feet.
Jaguar Timing System will be used allowing immediate streaming information in real time on websites and mobile apps. The event website will also have photos that can be downloaded for poster printing.
Each race is limited to the first 450 registrants and remaining races in the series will be at Rio Vista Park and Foothills Park.
Arizona Sunrise 2018 Series Riparian will kick off Sunday, July 21 at 6:30 am at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, East Guadalupe Road.
