Gilbert invited to inaugural auto show

The Black Hawk Regiment will be presenting its Concert of Cars inaugural car show.

All makes and models will be included as exhibitors. The early registration fee before February 1st will be $25, and this goes up to $30 after that date. All registrants will receive T-Shirts and dash plaques.

Caetegories will start with pre-1939 autos and are arranged in 10-year increments up to the ‘2000 to Current’ division. There will also be Under Construction, Truck, and Diesel categories, and a special class for Williams Field High School students. Winners in each division will receive trophies.

Sponsorships of $100 are available. Each trophy sponsor needs to get its Logo Design to the organizers quickly to be included in the event’s announcements, banner printing, and T-Shirts.

Sponsors will also get 10x10 vendor booths to pass out Business Cards, give away Promotional Products, and sell goods and services. Other local vendors will also be on site.

Vendors will also be donating prizes for the silent auction. Each item will have a minimum value of $50. Along with the silent auction, there will be a 50/50 raffle, food and entertainment.

The Black Hawk Regiment’s First Concert of Cars will be at Williams Field High School, 2076 South Higley Road, on February 23 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. Trophies will be handed out at 1:30 pm.
