Many Gilbert children will be all aglow as they attend various holiday season events leading up to Christmas.
Mrs. Claus will be telling Christmas stories outside Santa’s House at Santan Village. Little listeners will receive giveaways, and some lucky kids will win prizes. Mrs. Claus will be there Tuesdays, 11:00 am to noon, from November 29 through December 20.
Mrs. Potts Tea Party at 264 W 2nd Street will host a party for Santa on Friday, December 9 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Old St. Nick will be appearing with some of his elves and three princesses. The evening will feature holiday dancing, music, and photo opportunities.
Businesses such as this often take pictures during the festivities. These photos are often taken to nearby Print shops and added to advertising materials.
Food trailers will offer hot chocolate and seasonal treats. Guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items for the Matthews Crossing Food Bank.
Mother Nature’s Farm at 1663 E. Baseline Road, will have its annual Snow Day on Saturday, December 10 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Activities will include a hayride, straw bale maze, spiderweb crawl-through, bounce houses, and animals to feed.
Finally, the seasonal classic movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be shown at the Park, 335 North Gilbert Road on Wednesday, December 21 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
