Taste About Gilbert is presenting the Gilbert Off the Street Festival early in November. The event will offer an array of kids’ activities, crafts, art, food trucks, and live music.
Over 50 Gilbert area wineries, breweries and restaurants will converge on one street and offer their specialties for purchase. Friday night will be the Happy Hour Street Party, where vendors will be focusing on their appetizers, tapas, hors d’oeuvres, and specialty drinks. Saturday night will be Gilbert’s Best Eat and Drinks, where food vendors will concentrate on their specialty dishes and beverages.
Art and crafts vendors will be onsite with their original works, and local merchants will be vending family-friendly goods and services. Many will have Business Cards handy if anyone wishes to contact them at a later date.
Bands, solo and acoustic artists, dancers and children’s entertainers will be performing during both days. Ultimate Bon Jovi will take the stage from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday and the Young Guns Band will take over Saturday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Street performers will be meandering through the crowd, demonstrating their musical and theatrical skills.
The Gilbert Off the Street Festival will be Friday, November 2 from 4:00 until 9:00 pm, and Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm in Downtown Gilbert’s Historic District. The food vendors will be located on Ash Street.
