Three music events - two Christmas-oriented and one just for fun - have been scheduled for Gilbert over the next few weeks.
A musical celebration of Christmas will be “Hear the Angels Sing” featuring award-winning musicians - Yuiry Vereshchagin at the piano, tenor Nathan Northrup and soprano Elisabeth Coleman. The evening’s 90-minute performance will be pieces of familiar and new carols and songs.
Hear the Angels Sing will be presented Monday, December 18th beginning at 7:30 pm at the Hammer & Strings Conservatory, 610 N Gilbert Road, Suite 400.
A more interactive music event will be Caroling on the Light Rail. A tailgate breakfast will await guests arriving at 9:00 am. This will be followed by a sing-along train ride to the end of the line boarding at 10:00 am. Attendees need not fear the lyrics as they will be provided.
Caroling on the Light Rail will begin at the Gilbert Road/Main Station on Saturday, December 16th.
Patrons who take time for events like these often wish to remember them by taking pictures during the events. These pictures often go to nearby Stationery printers to be made into personalized note cards.
A not-too-terribly-Christmasy-but-fun music event will be Live Music at O.H.S.O.’s Gilbert, The Park. General admission will be free.
The music will be provided by Diva Rocks and the fun will run from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm at O.H.S.O. Brewery- Gilbert, at 335 North Gilbert Road.
