Dignity Health is once again sponsoring its annual Gilbert Downtown Concert series beginning in a few days. These performances will be free to attend.
Everyone is invited to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to the park and to arrive early to get prime locations for the concerts.
The first of the two May concerts will be this Thursday, May 9. The band for the evening will be New Wave Order – a cover band bringing back ‘80s new wave hits. The band is devoted to recreating the originals by using special synthesizers from that era, along with state-of-the-art equipment.
On May 23, the Cliffside Push will perform. This group comprises seven schoolteachers and one engineer. Its music is an eclectic mix of covers from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, and Bruno Mars.
Fans of performers such as these usually show their support by wearing the bands’ Promotional Products, such as hats, sweatshirts and tees sporting the groups’ Logo Design.
Attendees are invited to bring snacks, food or drinks, although there will be food trucks on the premises. Children are invited to join their families for the concerts. The splash pad will be open before the performances and during intermission.
