Gilbert Days coming soon

November is our community’s Gilbert Days celebration. It will feature a parade, music festival, soft ball tournament, and rodeo.

The 32nd Annual Gilbert Days Soft Ball Tournament will start the celebration November 13th and 14th. Games will be at Freestone Park and Cactus Yards. Entry fee is $275 and men’s, women’s and coed teams must be registered by November 7th.

Gilbert Days Rodeo comes to town on the 19th through the 21st. Adult tickets run $18 and children’s tickets (for kids six to twelve years old) will be $12. The Lil Dudes Rodeo will be Friday at 4:00 pm, Saturday starting at noon and Sunday at 11:00 am. These events have been moved to Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road, Queens Creek.

On the 19th and 20th Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E Queen Creek Road, will have the Gilbert Days Music Festival from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Performers will be Piano Men Generations, The Instant Classics, Georgia Chrome, and Desert Dixie. Along with live music performances the venue will offer inflatables, food and drinks for purchase. Admission will be $10.

The highlight of Gilbert Days will be the Gilbert Days Parade on the 20th stepping off at 8:30 am. Non-profits, businesses, local schools and special interest groups will be marching in the Heritage District down Gilbert Road.

Parade units often get some banner printing done before the big day.

Rain date will be December 8th.
