Our Calendars have flipped to November, and that means Gilbert Days are coming soon.
Activities will include a parade, several running events, a concert, water tower lighting, and of course the rodeo.
This will be the 38th year for the Gilbert Days Rodeo. Activities will include the Gilbert Days Barrel Race, the 2016 Pony Express Ride, the Gilbert Days Roping, and the Rodeo. There will also be a Kickoff BBQ, Feed the Cowboys activity, and a Little Dudes Rodeo.
Gilbert Days will be from November 10 through the 19. The rodeo will be at Welcome Home Ranch November 10 through the 13.
The free concert and water tower lighting will take place on November 17 at Water Tower Plaza. The concert will feature Cisco and the Racecars - a bluegrass band. The performance will start at 6:30 pm and will be followed by lighting of the water tower.
The 5K and 1 mile run will be on November 19 at Freestone Park beginning at 4:30 pm. The Half marathon and 10 K run will be at Higley High School, 4068 E. Pecos Road starting at 7:30 am on November 19.
The parade will run through the Gilbert Heritage District on November 19, kicking off at 8:30 am. The route will run on Gilbert Road southbound on the west side of the road.
