Many Gilbert runners and health and fitness enthusiasts will attend Santan Village Halloween HYROX Sim F45 coming in mid-October.
These activities will be done through simulation. The HYROX full race will be composed of eight km of running and 8 indoor stations. It will begin with a 1 km run, followed by a 1,000-meter SkiErg. A 50-meter sled push will follow another 1 km run and after the next run there will be a 50-meter sled pull. Broad jumps, 1,000 meters row, a 200 meters Farmers Carry, and 100-meters sandbag walking lunges will be interspersed with more 1 km runs. The final activity will be wall balls.
The Half-Rox will be a scaled-down version of the full Rox with all activities done at 1/2 distances and with 1/2 the reps.
Other activities will include face painting, and a costume contest.
Reset Mind and Body will have a recovery zone, Omorpho will offer training evaluation and Alani MU will have energy drinks from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the event.
Registration will be $66 for men and women solo opens, $45 for men's, women's and doubles opens, $55 for Half Rox men and women's solo opens and $34 for Half Rox doubles opens.
