In a couple of weeks, local art lovers will get their last chance this season to attend a Gilbert Art Walk. As always, the event is free and the public is invited.
Some unique items that attendees may purchase will range in fine art genres such as photography, ceramics, original paintings, and woodworking. Other items will include one-of-a kind custom jewelry and wearable clothes and scented soaps, both of which have been handmade. Live entertainment will on hand throughout the event too.
This is the fourth season for the art walk. The season started last October and will be finishing the end of this month. Its purpose is to have a venue for talented local artists and artisans to have an outlet for their visual art creations. Each participant has been carefully selected and approved by a jury composed of other artists in the event, thus ensuring that the items to be sold are of high quality and authentic.
This will be the last time until next October for photographers to take pictures for any town brochure printing that may be done between now and then.
The event is scheduled for Water Tower Park in Water Tower Plaza, 45 West Page Avenue, Gilbert. The date will be March 19th from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
