At least two outdoor events have been scheduled in Gilbert for fall.
One is at Mother Nature Farms where the farm is converting its location into a festival with fall-themed activities beginning in late September. The other will be the Gilbert Glow Run in October.
Guests at the farm are invited to walk or run through Alexander’s Adventure straw bale maze. Everyone may want to pick out their perfect pumpkin at Brooke’s Pumpkin Patch. The pumpkins, ranging from one ounce to 500lb, will be stocked daily. Pumpkin accessories and fall decorations can be purchased at Maneau’s Market.
The $10 entrance fees include a hayride, spider web crawl, and entrance to the maze. Guests will also get a chance to feed the animals, such as goats, pigs, ducks, cows, and donkeys.
Mother Nature Farm Fall Festival will begin September 25.
The annual Gilbert Glow Run will be an evening of black lights, glowsticks and live music along an untimed two-mile run/walk course. The run is designed for those of all athletic abilities and ages, and will include strobes, laser lights, glow powder, and bubbles. A foam party will await runners/walkers at the finish line. All participants will receive free T-Shirts sporting the event’s Logo Design.
Tickets are $30 and the event will be October 22 starting at 6:30 pm at Freestone Park, 1045 E. Juniper Avenue.
