Barktoberfest 2015 is coming up in a month’s time, bringing in an event designed to provide fun for dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds, as well as their owners.
This event is held every year and has been selected as the best annual event offered in town by the East Valley Tribune, offering entertainment for attendees both with and without dogs.
More than 7,500 people typically attend Barktoberfest every year, and the 2015 event will likely be equally as popular. It will feature music selected by a DJ, a doggie parade, arts and crafts with a doggie theme, a canine parade, booths for shopping, food for both dogs and their owners, and a lure course.
A variety of contests will take place to see which dogs look best in a costume, perform the best tricks, or are the best trained. All events will be family friendly. Those who plan to attend may want to have flyer printing carried out to help advertise the event.
Barktoberfest will be held outdoors on Saturday, October 10, running from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Gilbert Town Center, on the South East corner of Gilbert and Warner. Admission is free, though attendees will want no doubt to bring cash for buying goodies from vendors. Leashes are recommended to help keep order, especially for skittish pets.
