The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Glowball Golf and Networking event in mid-August.
Registration will begin at 6:00 pm. The BBQ dinner will start at 6:15 pm with nine holes of golf beginning at 7:15 pm. Prizes and awards will be announced at 9:15 pm.
This will be a four-person scramble, so foursomes are encouraged to register together for $225.14. Individual golfers may register for $60. Registration includes the BBQ dinner, warmup range balls, cart, nine holes of golfing at night, a Glow Necklace, and one Glowball. Extra Glowballs will be available for purchase. Those interested are advised to get their registrations as soon as possible as the event will be limited to 60 players or 15 teams.
Even though players will be required to wear glow necklaces while on the course, many golfers who play at night like to wear shirts that sport some glow-in-the-dark markings.
Gilbert businesspeople that attend events like this often bring Business Cards and for networking opportunities, and organizers for this event are encouraging them to do so. This not only gets Business Cards circulated, but participants learn more about community services and other businesses.
