Officials from the council gave the go-ahead for Tony Johnston’s proposal to convert the set of buildings that used to be home to the council. The site in question is located at the corner of East Princes Street and Sinclair Street, with outdoor seating set to be installed along the latter, as well as major alterations to the interiors.
The project will also see a number of suites for functions created at the site, with the upper levels being turned into flats for six people. In addition to this, a brand new access route for pedestrians will be provided, running between Sinclair Street and Helensburgh Central train station.
Speaking to the Helensburgh Advertiser, Johnston stated that he was really pleased to gain the planning permission needed for the project to move forward, adding:
“Moreover, I have been very impressed with the approach and efficiency of the planning and building control department to date, who have been very supportive and helpful in the process.”
He concluded that he was looking forward to launching his new venture in Helensburgh. New restaurant venues opening there can always make use of places that provide promotional Drinkware.Get a Free Quote for Drinkware Get a Free Quote for Plans
