Work on Dunfermline development could start soon

Work on the construction of a brand-new housing development at a site in Dunfermline could get underway soon, with the developer keen to get the ball rolling.

Allanwater Homes will be building a development consisting of a total of 69 properties at the site in question, which used to be home to a depot for Fife Council. The company got the necessary planning permission for the scheme earlier in the year and it is stating that it has now fulfilled all of the conditions necessary before the work could begin.

Among those conditions were details about its Plans for generating energy, landscaping and for public art at the development, as well as ecological surveys, and a timeline for completion of the work. The company, which is based out of Bridge of Allan, is now awaiting the green light to begin from Fife Council.

Housing developers who are building new homes within the city can always visit places in Dunfermline that supply brochure printing if they want to create Brochures showcasing the properties after the work is completed.

The plans that Allanwater Homes put forward for the site include extensive landscaped green spaces with trees, a shared road for pedestrians and cyclists, and open space courtyard areas.

The site chosen for the development is in Carnock Road, Dunfermline.
