The View are hitting the road to mark the anniversary of Hats Off to the Buskers, their smash hit debut album. It came out at the start of 2007 and spawned multiple hits, including Face for the Radio, Wasted Little DJs and Same Jeans. News that they will be touring it has been greeted warmly, with many shows having already sold out.
The venue for the Dunfermline show will be the Alhambra Theatre, and fans will have to get in quickly if they do not want to miss out. Local entertainment venues often make use of poster printing outlets to further stimulate demand.
According to the Dunfermline Press, a spokesperson for the Alhambra Theatre said:
“We’re thrilled to be part of celebrating one of the great Scottish albums of the 2000s. The View are one of Scotland’s best-loved bands, and we can’t wait to welcome them back to Dunfermline.”
Fans who manage to get tickets can expect to hear the album in full. However, the band will also likely be playing popular songs from its other albums.
The View will launch their tour at the start of next year and hit Dunfermline on 17 April 2027.
