This final concert was called ‘The Last Waltz’, and saw The Band joined on stage by luminaries Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell. The tribute has been given the name ‘After the Last Waltz’, and is the brainchild of the Stevie Agnew Band.
Like the original show, it features a host of guest performers. Among them are Gary Arnott, The Cognac Twins, Ali Ferguson and Kirsten Adamson. The venue for this return engagement will again be the Carnegie Hall.
There is sure to be plenty of interest, as the first performance was a hit with local rock fans. The organisers will have the option of getting Promotional Products from Dunfermline Print shops when it comes to further advertising the event.
The Stevie Agnew Band told the Dunfermline Press that:
“After a sell-out show in 2023 at Carnegie Hall, we are delighted to be returning for a second year to perform this classic collection of songs for you, with our very special guests.”
The original show by The Band has gone down in musical history. Martin Scorsese filmed them as they played their farewell show, which was later released as a home video.
‘After The Last Waltz’ will hit Dunfermline’s Carnegie Hall on 10th February, with a start time of 8pm.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Print
