Rescheduled show dates announced by Dunfermline theatre

The Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline has announced new dates for many performances that had to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, and is urging those who have tickets to hold onto them.

One of the planned shows that has been given a new date is the performance by Irish comic Ed Byrne, who was due to appear at the theatre on 5th June but will now do so on 26th February next year. Another comedian, Al Murray, has had his Dunfermline gig rearranged for 18th September this year, which the Alhambra will be following up with a George Michael tribute show called Fastlove.

The theatre is indicating that any tickets that people bought for the originally scheduled dates will be valid for the new ones. Local theatres often look to Graphic Design Services in Dunfermline to help create Posters for their shows.

Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, a spokesperson for the Alhambra said:

“Over the past few weeks, we have been working closely with promoters to arrange rescheduled dates for as many of our upcoming shows as possible.”

Other shows that the theatre has managed to reschedule are Burn the Floor, which has been moved to July instead of May, Showaddywaddy, who will now play their gig in late August rather than May and the Johnny Cash Roadshow, which will now hit Dunfermline in January 2021.
