Paul Weller first hit the big time back in the late 1970s, as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Jam. He then followed up with further success throughout the 1980s in The Style Council, and from the 1990s onwards as a solo performer. Now, he is set to embark on a new tour of the UK, and one of the stops will be Dunfermline.
The Alhambra Theatre will be the venue for the show, which will mark one of the most prestigious live music gigs it has hosted up to now. The show is set to be promoted by Regular Music, and tickets are sure to be snapped up quickly. Flyer printing from Dunfermline shops can help to spread the word about events such as this.
An Alhambra spokesperson told the Dunfermline Press that the theatre was thrilled at attracting an artist of Weller’s calibre, adding:
“A massive coup for both the Alhambra and Fife. A true icon, who ranks up there with acts such as Kasabian, Snow Patrol and Paolo Nutini as one of the biggest-ever artists we have had at the venue.”
This concert will take place on 15th April 2024.
