The City Hotel Group has bought the building, which has been vacant since 2017 when the Post Office moved to the high street as part of WH Smith. The group is now putting together Plans for a redevelopment of the building that would see it turned into a venue for eating and drinking, as well as for people visiting Dunfermline to stay.
It would feature live entertainment, giving it the potential to be a popular part of the town’s nightlife. When new venues are set to open, owners often look to local places offering Promotional Products that can be given away to help advertise the launch.
According to the Dunfermline Press, a City Hotel Group spokesperson stated that the firm already had several venues in the town and that the new facility would complement these, adding:
“We are of the opinion that having a facility providing good quality food and drink, as well as accommodation for tourists who are coming to Dunfermline in greater numbers, would be a fitting use for this old building.”
The next stage for City Group Hotels is to apply for planning permission to the local council.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Plans
