Nina Conti to perform gig in Dunfermline

A top comedian with a unique ventriloquism based act is set to visit Dunfermline for a live performance next year, as she embarks on a tour of the country.

Nina Conti has become famous for her act that involves the Monkey character. This has helped her to win prestigious industry prizes such as a British Comedy Award. She is a regular at events like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, but next year she will be covering the whole of the UK with a brand new live tour, and Dunfermline will be one of the stop-offs.

Conti will be bringing the show called ‘Whose Face Is It Anyway?’ to the Alhambra Theatre in the town. The tour is scheduled to run from January to March, with the Dunfermline date pencilled in for around the halfway stage.

There are many methods that venues deploy to advertise their upcoming shows, with one of the choices available being themed giveaway Promotional Products created by local shops.

According to the Dunfermline Press, Conti said of her upcoming tour that using ventriloquism helps her to overcome shyness. She went on to add:

“I’m addicted to the liberation it brings to the room, and I can’t wait to travel with it. I’ve chosen all my favourite theatres.”

Tickets for this show are already on sale. It will take place on 14th February.
