Sharon and Holly Smith launched their first salon, Flawless, in February 2019. It is based in Kelty and has been a hit since it opened, which has led to Plans to open a second branch of the business in Dunfermline. Mother Sharon handles the haircare and management side, while Holly provides the beauty and makeup treatments.
The site they have chosen for the new salon is on Abbot Street, and they have submitted plans to the council. Offering giveaway Promotional Products and deals can be a good way for new businesses to advertise their services when they open.
Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, Sharon said that the Kelty salon now has 21 people working in it and is hugely popular with local women, before adding:
“I was a Dunfermline hairdresser in different shops for more than 20 years and a lot of my clients come from Dunfermline, so the new salon will be better for them.”
The salon would provide jobs for 20 people in the town, with the pair hoping that they will be able to carry out the necessary conversion work and be ready to open for business by late 2020.
