Fife Cultural Trust is aiming to freshen things up with a brand new show that will target families who have children aged three to six this Christmas. The show is called Moon Dog and the Christmas Star, and is due to open during the first week of December.
Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, the chief executive of this trust, Heather Stuart, stated that she was thrilled at the prospect of providing people with something special this year, with the show set to combine puppets and clowning:
“Created by renowned Scottish theatre-maker Francis Gallop, this spell-binding story centres around a little girl called Molly and a little dog she has befriended from another world.”
She added that the author had a long track record, having worked with a number of top production companies in Scotland, such as The Arches, The Citizens, The Tron, Grid Iron and the National Theatre of Scotland, and that she hoped audiences would enjoy the blend of interactive entertainment, music and magic that his show features.
The show opens on the 6th of December and runs until Christmas Eve. Leaflet printing may be used as a tool to help with promoting it.
