Dunfermline visit planned for UK astronaut
One of the most celebrated astronauts in the UK is set to pay a visit to Dunfermline later in the year, as he embarks on a new tour of the country.
Tim Peake will be coming to town with a show that has been called ‘Astronauts: The Quest to Explore Space.’ He is stating that this latest live show will introduce those who attend to space travel in all of its magnificence.
Peake rose to national fame a decade ago, when he journeyed to the International Space Station. This feat made him the first astronaut from the UK to do so.
Audiences at his new show will be able to view archive film of that trip, while Peake will also share stories of the adventure. This will be his second live tour, after his first proved to be a sell-out success and ran for two years. That show was entitled ‘My Journey to Space.’
The venue for the Dunfermline appearance will be the Alhambra Theatre. Themed promotional products created by local shops can help venues in the city to advertise their upcoming shows.
Talking about his tour, Peake said that he was looking forward to sharing stories and footage that would help audiences understand what it is like to go to space.
He is scheduled to be in Dunfermline with his show on 4 September.
