Dunfermline to get new housing at former council site

A total of 44 brand-new homes are set to be constructed at a site in Dunfermline where a depot for Fife Council used to stand, after the authority gave the nod to the Plans.

Fife Council gave its approval to this project, which will see the homes built at a spot in Bellyeoman Road that covers 1.7 acres. It is one of three housing developments in the Fife area that have been given the nod, with the others to be built in Kirkcaldy and Lochore, which will provide the region with affordable housing for over 100 local families.

Housing developers in the area sometimes hire brochure printing outlets to provide them with high-quality, glossy colour Brochures containing pictures of their latest properties.

Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, the convener of the housing services and community committee for Fife Council, Judy Hamilton, stated that:

“I am delighted to see three new council housing developments add to the tally of new council houses that have been built across Fife over the last three years.”

Hamilton then went on to say that the authority was targeting the construction of 3,500 such homes in the region by May of this year.

Work on the building of the Dunfermline homes is scheduled to get underway during the summer and be completed by summer 2024.
