Dunfermline music festival in full swing

The 34th annual Fife Festival of Music began last Tuesday, and Fife will remain alive with music over the next week across different venues in the area. The festival returns to Fife with the main scheduled performances in venues situated in Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

Tuesday morning saw primary school children from Dunfermline take part in the beginning of the festival, and this was followed by an afternoon filled with more schools from the area creating music. The chairman of the festival gave his thanks to all the people who support the event and allow it to take place every year.

The annual festival was founded in 1981 and was created in support of the process of making music in the area. It is designed to welcome all ages and ensembles, as well as willing supporters and donors. According to the event’s website, there will be more workshops throughout the year after January and February's 'Period A' comes to its conclusion.

The festival runs until the February 7 and is being held primarily at Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline, along with several other venues in Kirkcaldy. There are a lot of opportunities to make the most of printing services in Dunfermline should the event staff have any full colour printing needs, as Dunfermline might want to advertise the festival to new audiences.
