The first of these will be by Shambolics, who will play PJ Molloys at the end of the month, while the second will see the legendary Glasgow band Arab Strap visit Dunfermline. The Shambolics gig will mark the first time that PJ Molloys has hosted an indoor show at full capacity since the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
The group are riding high on the back of their new single titled ‘Dreams, Schemes & Young Teams.’ They are set to tour Scotland and England during late summer and autumn, but will play Dunfermline first. Flyer printing from sources in the town can be a good way to promote gigs like this.
Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, Shambolics’ Darren Forbes said:
“We cut our teeth in PJ’s and to be able to come back to our hometown and to the venue where we played our first ever gig and do something positive for the place was a no-brainer.”
Following this, Arab Strap will come to Dunfermline as part of a tour of the UK. The Glen Pavilion will be the venue for this gig.
The Shambolics concert will take place on 28th August, while Arab Strap will play on 3rd September.
