A popular Scottish folk-pop group has announced they will be coming to Dunfermline later in the year, as they embark on a new tour of the country.
Tide Lines is a four-piece group made up of lead singer and guitarist Robert Robertson, Ross Wilson on keyboards, guitarist and bagpipe player Alasdair Turner and Fergus Munro on drums. They are getting ready to head out on the road with a new tour titled Homeward Bound - and one of the places that they will visit during it is Dunfermline.
The Alhambra Theatre will be the venue for this show and it seems likely to be a highlight of the autumn for music fans in the city. Local venues often choose to get poster printing done by shops in the area when they need to advertise upcoming shows that they have planned.
In an interview with the Dunfermline Press, vocalist Robertson stated that this would be the most ambitious tour of Scotland that the band had undertaken to date and that he was really excited by the prospect.
He then went on to say that:
“It’s going to feel amazing to be back playing some of our favourite venues whilst also getting to play parts of the country that are new to us.”
The band will be playing in Dunfermline on 28th November with tickets available now.
