Dunfermline festival puts call out for filmmakers

The organisers of an annual festival taking place in Dunfermline have put a call out to aspiring filmmakers, urging them to submit any shorts that they have for it.

Outwith Festival encompasses everything from live music to short film screenings and other arts projects. The venue for the film part of this multi-arts event will be Fire Station Creative. Outwith’s organisers are keen to obtain a diverse selection of short films to show. Thus, they have put the call out for films that last from one to 15 minutes.

These films can be in any genre, and those filmmakers whose projects are chosen for screening at the event will be invited to come along on the day and meet up with other people who make short films.

Flyer printing provided by Dunfermline shops can be a very cost-effective and useful way for those putting together local arts events to spread the word about them quickly throughout the city.

Outwith Festival is organised on a voluntary basis. The complete festival runs for six days each year. The activities on offer range from foraging events to live performances of classical music and visual arts exhibitions.

This year’s festival will kick off on 6th September and finish on 10th September. The film festival segment of it is due to take place on 10th.
