Details revealed for Dunfermline pantomime

The Alhambra theatre in Dunfermline has announced that this year’s pantomime production will be Jack and the Beanstalk.

Running from December 11-28, the show is being directed by Russel Lane, who says that the story has been given its own creative twist and now involves Jack’s family owning a circus – with Nelly the Elephant, clowns and acrobats all present.

With Colin Mcreadie from Taggart as Daft Davie, other characters include Fairy Nuff and Fairy Duff. The central character of Jack will be played by Paul Luebke.

Having performed in panto at the Alhambra last year, Colin is very excited about coming back. Stating that the cast is as big as those you would see in a Glasgow or Edinburgh show, but with family tickets costing much less, he encouraged people to came along and enjoy the experience.

Cast members gathered together recently for a photoshoot ahead of rehearsals. The pictures will be used to produce Stationery items and Flyers to promote the show.
