Last year saw the town’s festive fun put on hold due to Covid-19, but the OnFife cultural trust has confirmed that the annual Christmas extravaganza will be back this year. It has joined forces with Pitlochry Festival Theatre in creating a story that will capture all of the wonder of Christmas and will be full of surprises and music – as well as Father Christmas himself.
The tale sees the elves who help him prepare for Christmas each year manage to lose the North Star. This leaves Father Christmas unable to find his way on Christmas Eve.
Carnegie Hall will be the venue for the show, and brochure printing from shops in the town is sometimes used by theatres like this so they can stock Brochures detailing their upcoming events.
Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, Verdi Clark from OnFife said:
“This last year or so has presented us all with so many challenges but we want to make sure our youngest theatre audiences experience the magic and wonder of Christmas in style.”
Featuring Santa’s Grotto, a giant advent calendar and magic forest, this show will be running from 4th to 19th December.
