Natalie Rose Woods is aged 18 and attends Dunfermline High School. Following a search that took in the whole of the Scotland, she was confirmed as one of the final 12 competitors for Miss Scotland 2018. This means that she will be attending a glittering ceremony in Glasgow next month, at which the winner will be revealed.
The Corinthian Hotel will serve as the venue for this ceremony and the winner will get to represent Scotland at this year’s Miss World, being held in China. Speaking to the Dunfermline Press, Natalie said she was stunned at her success.
She is using her campaign to support the Mary Leishman Foundation charity, but admitted that it was only the persistence of her mother that convinced her to try out for the pageant via the online submission process:
“I just decided one day that I’d do it to shut her up! I’m very grateful to her now! My mum has also been coming up with all these ideas for charity fundraisers and different activities I could be doing.”
The final takes place on 15th June. Both individuals and companies often turn to printers that can supply banner printing, so they can show support at events and fundraisers.
