Baker in Dunfermline named best in Scotland

A bakery based in Dunfermline has cause for celebration after it enjoyed a win at the regional stage of a prestigious national awards ceremony.

WM Stephens was the Scottish regional winner of this year’s ‘Craft Bakery Business Award’ at a recent ceremony hosted by Stephen Mulhern. The organiser of the awards night was the top trade magazine British Baker, which uses the annual event to pay tribute to those within the sector that have done the most to inspire.

Sales development manager for WM Stephens, Talia Sarafilovic, was present at the ceremony to collect the award and afterwards she stated that the company was thrilled to be named as the finest bakery in Scotland.

Earlier this year, the bakery had another major win, in the Scottish Bakers Awards. Jordan Hodgson, operations manager for WM Stephens, told the Dunfermline Press:

“At 145-years-old, we are very proud of our history but we constantly strive to innovate and bring new ideas to the market. Our most recent venture opening Scotland’s first drive-thru bakery was a great success.”

Hodgson concluded by saying that the firm owed its success to the loyalty of its customers and thanked them for the support they had shown. When companies win prizes and awards, they often use business card printing so they can get updated cards to reflect those wins.
