Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s is situated on Chalmers Street in Dunfermline and has become one of the most popular places to eat out among residents. It is up for a prize at the annual Restaurant of the Year awards, which are put together by the Scottish License Trade News. The category that it has been nominated in is the ‘Fine Dining’ one.
The magazine that runs these awards is highly influential within the hospitality sector, so they carry real prestige. There is just one other restaurant competing with Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s for the prize – namely The Dipping Lugger, which is based at Ullapool.
Talking to the Dunfermline Press, Bryan Coghill from the restaurant said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be a finalist in this year’s prestigious SLTN Awards, which we certainly feel are the benchmark for excellence in our industry.”
When local businesses have success at awards ceremonies, they sometimes turn to Dunfermline shops that Print Business Cards or Flyers, as this allows them to highlight those wins.
Coghill went on to say that everyone at the restaurant was hoping for a second SLTN win, 26 years after the first.
The winners will be announced on 7th November.
